Networking events for internationals in Herning

What?

Networking events for internationals living and/or working in the Herning-area. We will gather you and other internationals for two hours every time, and focus on themes like ”Your story, how did you end up here in the area”, “understanding the weird Danes and their culture, and what they do after 4pm”. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet the other participants and share experiences. And if you don't already know the area and the opportunities within, then join the network to get inspired for exploration in your new neighborhood.

Who?

The participants will either live in Herning Municipality, work in a company in the area or have a partner that works in the area. Both people who are new to the area or have been here for a while are welcome.

When?

There will be four meetings during spring of 2024. Tuesdays 12. March, 9. April, 14. May, 18. June. Each time from 16.45-19.00 (5-7 pm), including a light meal.

Who is behind?

The network sessions are organised by Herning Municipality & Business Region MidtVest and is supported by the European Union and Danmarks Erhvervsfremmebestyrelse.

How?

Sign up below to participate on June 18, 2024 from 16.45-19.00 (4.45-7 pm). Every event has room for approx. 25 participants.

Program for June 18

Location: Sdr. Anlæg, Godsbanevej, 7400 Herning (meeting point: Orienteringsklubben, Godsbanevej 2)

• 16.45-17.00: Registration
• 17.00: Welcome and introduction
• 17.15: Theme: Outdoor activities in Herning + surroundings.
• 18.40: Light meal and networking

As these events are co-funded by the EU, you need to fill in a form documenting your participation on each event. Please show up so all registration can be completed by 17.00.
