• Meet a range of organisations and associations and find inspiration for leisure activities, networking, places to go and much more.
• Experience a Living Library / group discussion session: We have invited a number of volunteers/”Living Books” who are ready to share their story in small group sessions.
• Network with locals and internationals.
• Enjoy Latin Dance from Herning Latin Dance.
• Experience a Kendo (Japanese martial art) demonstration
• Participate in a competition and win great prices.
• Join the after-event informal networking part at Fox & Hounds.

Whether you are new to Herning or have been here for a while - join us for a fun, inspiring and cozy day.

The next International Citizen Day takes place 20. September 2025 at Herning Bibliotekerne, Østergade 8 in Herning.

10.30 Official welcome 
10.35 Short introductions by exhibitors.
11.00-13.00 Stands are open.
11.45 Kendo showcase (Japanese martial arts).
12.00 Open dance class with Herning Latin Dance.
13.00-13.30 Networking and refreshments.
13.30 Living Library: Meet local internationals and hear their story. We have invited a number of volunteers/Living Books who will share their story.
