What is Expat Fair Herning?

Expat Fair Herning is an event for internationals in Herning - and anyone else interested. 

The idea of the event is to inspire and inform international citizens about activities, associations and things to do in the Herning-area. At the event there will also be opportunity to hear talks about Danish culture, living in Denmark as an Expat and much more. 

And of course the event is also a great chance to network and get to know new people.

Who is organising the event?

The event is organised by Herning Municipality and Herning Libraries in collaboration with members from the association International Society, Herning International Rotary Club and FOCUS Student Magazine.

Event programme

11.00-13.00: Booths are open (Library ground floor)

11.00: Official welcome speech (Library ground floor)

11.30: Marathon pitches:
Associations and organizations will present themselves in 2 minutes (Library ground floor)

12.30: Live music: clarinetist Tommaso Lonquich, cellist Jonathan Slaatto and pianist Martin Qvist from Ensemble MidtVest will play a few classical pieces.

13.00-13.40: Anatolie Cantir, university lecturer, VIA Design:
Danish culture is an extreme (Library 1st floor)

13.45-14.10: Catalina Sarivan, product manager, MHI Vestas:

Who is the target group?

The target group is international people who have come here to study or work, with their family or on their own. But the event is open and anyone interested is very welcome.
